Hey, I'm not sure if this is a WBC3 thing or what, but my friend's having trouble with melee heroes simply not fighting back. I really have no clue, I think I've seen it happen to melee units like the time an entire army of dark riders derped out and didn't fight back, but it's consistantly happening with his assassin and warrior heroes that perform awesomely otherwise.

Is there a 'winded' mechanic? Maybe a bug with attack speed or game speed? The positioning / grid system of the game? Sorry I don't have more information, I'll have to play with it to reproduce it, but I've witnessed it half a dozen times tonight.

If it is in multiplayer it is either caused by:
a) lag
b) a well known vanilla bug where two units end up on the same square

This is known for the AI and is being worked out. In the current dev version, heroes are behaving better with time. Mostly they will not fight back after their Hp droped to a certain level (they will retreat to the base) and if they are caught in the their way to salvation, they will be unable to strike back. there are also other issues with quests (heroes seek quests but for some reason they get stuck in there) and so on.

about ai units. they work fine (they will fight to the death and the unstucking routine was greatly improved already)
