Hello, let me just preface and say that I enjoy playing the mod tremendously and eagerly anticipate each new release.

My question is: is it possible to somehow setup an all-AI skirmish match? If not, would it be difficult to allow such functionality in the future releases?

What do you mean by all-AI skirmish map? No human players?

Exactly. Right now starting a skirmish match requires a human player. Is it possible to make a skirmish match without one? So you can watch AI battle it out.

Well, you can currently turn yourself to an AI by using the cheat Iamavegie, but that's about it. Spectating matches is something we are taking into discussion though and hopefully we will be able to implement it in the future.

Press enter, then type iamavegie and it will turn you into a Warlord-level AI player.

Going back to this topic.. I think there is something broken in the current build.

In a skirmish, when I press Enter and type iamavegie to give control to AI, the other AI players seem to "break." All AI levels just spam buildings and towers with no end, build mostly lowest tier units, mass suicide their produced units, rarely attack, go from workers to titan with no interim units, and other weird behavior.. Sometimes, but very rarely, they put together a balanced army and attack.

This happens on all maps and under any skirmish conditions.

Could you check on your side and see if that's something fixable for the next build?

Thanks for the report. I think I've seen something like this happening for the AI before but I'm not sure whether that was in 0.8.6, in the 0.8.7 dev version or in both... Regardless the AI did suffer from this under normal circumstances, and has since been fixed in 0.8.7.

This cheat had no effect on other AIs anyway. It was generic AI behavior, now improved in 0.8.7.
